To all the faithful in the Lord Jesus –
My Beloved prayer partners, co workers and friends
Greetings to you all in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ
I am glad to share my heart with you all. I have been praying in my heart for all you wonderful people of the Lord. The Lord has enriched me and the ministry here in India with His grace and encouragement through you all. How I wish I could communicate to you more often, but I am restricted by time and language. But my wife is a great bridge between you and ministry here in Bangalore, India.
The ministry is growing by the day, and so are our needs. We are amazed at what God is doing here among the people, whom God has given under our fold. We are doing our best to cater to their Spiritual and Physical needs. I am personally involved in teaching and preaching of the Word, along with administration. Therefore, we have to employ more staff to take care of the various departments we work in. this year we have included Rev. Robert Ranjan into our team as Director of Church and Mission Work, while I have taken the responsibility of the Home and Church work and I oversee all the projects we undertake. My wife takes charge of the School work.
We have felt the need to expand and organize our work, so we purchased about 3000 Square feet of Land in 2001 but this does not seem to be sufficient for all our needs. This year God led us to purchase about 4810 Square feet of Land for the School. But we have not paid the entire amount; we are waiting on God’s providence. This present land has cost us about 25,oo,ooo ($50000) of which we had saved and paid 16,00,000 ($30,000). We are in Urgent need of to pay the rest of the amount by August 2006. we urge all our beloved in the Lord to pray and support us in this venture. We are indebted to all of you for the wonderful support and comfort that all of you have bought into our lives. I hope that all of you will understand our need and co operate with us. We are in need of Rs. 9,25,00 (about $20,500). Pray for this need.
Generosity Encouraged
The reason I decided to make this appeal is that God led me to read 2 Cor. 8: where Paul is appealing to the Corinthians to learn the Ministry of giving. And he concludes the matter in this way:
But just as you excel in everything – in faith, in speech, in knowledge, in complete earnestness, and in your love for us – see that you excel in this grace of giving. 2 Cor. 8: 7.
The Ministry cannot proceed until God’s people learn to give generously as Paul emphasis in chapter 8 of 2 Corinthians. People of the Kingdom need to understand that the mission of God is dependent on them to the extent of their giving. I see there are so many missionaries sent out from South Korea, which I believe is not at all necessary at this point in time. Because already there are enough missionaries, just in the city of Bangalore, who are struggling to continue because of the Lack of funds and Human resources. We need Churches and people who can find out the needs of the missionaries that are present here and how they can be networked with for the extension of God’s Kingdom. I encourage all those who are reading this appeal to understand the need here in the ministry and support generously, for God loves the cheerful giver.
